Spirited Conversations are held on a fortnightly basis, and we share supper in the comfort of a member’s house. If you can’t come that regularly that’s ok; many of our members come less frequently due to work and personal commitments.
Rev Sarah can collect questions anonymously if people would prefer not to voice them. We also share ideas, thoughts and articles or events on our Facebook group in between meetings.
What is a Spirited Conversation?
This is a conversation space to explore questions and concepts about spirituality, faith and your own personal journey. It is safe and non-judgemental, no question is dumb or too difficult, although questions can be asked anonymously if desired. We cannot promise answers, but as a group we will discuss and debate, and perhaps come to a greater understanding.
Reverend Sarah Agnew facilitates our conversations with questions, her own stories, and knowledge from the Christian faith if we desire.
Who is it for?
Spirited Conversations is for young adults (18-30) wanting explore their spirituality, and is for everyone regardless of background or belief. Everyone is on a journey somewhere, and we would enjoy walking with you for a while in yours.
What if I’m not a Christian?
Is spirituality something you’ve only just begun to think about, and you don’t know much about Christianity? This space will allow you to share with others, listen to their understanding, safe and without judgement on your opinions or knowledge and there is no expectation to continue if you do not find what you’re seeking.
