Yes – Rev Leanne is leaving

Rev Leanne JenskiDear friends, while I was away I applied for a new ministry placement and I have been appointed to be the Full Time Chaplain at Flinders Medical Centre starting on August 1. So after almost 6 years, I am moving on. I have always thought my next placement would be in hospital chaplaincy and it is just a bonus it is so close to home.

My last service will be a combined 10am worship on July 22 with a lunch to follow. The council executive is looking for a supply minister to tide you over until the permanent minister is found.

I have loved lots of things about being your minister and part of me is feeling sad that I am leaving but another part of me knows it is the right time for you, and for me, to part ways.

Blessings, Rev Leanne.

Bernard Clark wrote this story in a book called Larrpan ga Buduyurr: the Spear and the Cloud.
